The Law Of Success

By David A. Gonzalez

"Success" is a concept not often associated with law. Success has too many variables. Success is dependent on luck or fate or conditions beyond control. Not so, says Paramahansa Yogananda. Success is as reliable as gravity for the individual who understands and applies the law.Given the same conditions, physical laws are considered universal and invariable. Everyone experiences the phenomenon's of gravity or motion or energy whether or not they understand the full functioning of the law. Mastery of the law however, knowing with complete certainty the means to realize a specific outcome, confers immense advantage.

Seek God first, writes Paramahansa Yogananda in his succinct (24 pages) "The Law of Success". Confirm contact, then align yourself with divine will. If it be divine will all things - wisdom, abundance, health - will be bestowed upon you. Your task in life is to discern and act in accordance with God's will. Doing so invariable leads to success.Paramahansa Yogananda, an Indian yogi, lived his last 30 years in the United States. He possessed an uncanny ability to adapt and merge the ancient principles of his profound Hindu faith with modern American Christianity. Exhibiting a quick wit and jubilant spirit he reconciled truths for countless seekers to achieve self-realization.Every person possesses and is wholly responsible for two powers: thought and will. Applying those powers correctly is the key to creating a fulfilling, successful life."Will power is the spring of all your actions." Action is the energizing of will and thought. You can control your destiny through your thoughts. As success must serve, that is advance life, you must discipline your habits of thought to constructive purposes. Ultimately your objective must be to tune your intentions and your thoughts to the will of God.

Planting the Seed. The farmer plants the seed of the crop he wishes to harvest. He does not plant corn seed to get a harvest of wheat. So, too, a person must plant the seeds of what he wishes to gain. This is where goal setting comes into the process. The person needs to decide what his goals are, and then create a plan for reaching those goals, so that he can plant the right seed for the desired harvest of success. A person wishing financial success must plant financial seeds, whether these be investments made or skills learned. The person must understand how the seeds being planted will grow to the desired harvest.

Do not will or act first, rather seek God. Sit quietly, calm your senses and release your thoughts. An exact focus will allow God's intention to reach you. When you discern God's will act in accordance with it. Fulfill you dominant purpose - your role in this life.Success is measured by happiness. "Existence becomes futile if you cannot find happiness. When wealth is lost, you have lost little; when health is lost, you have lost something of more consequence; but when peace of mind is lost, you have lost the highest treasure." And peace of mind is the result of aligning your purpose to divine will. Happiness depends chiefly on your mental attitude. Determine to be happy.Think, will, and act guided by divine spirit. The power is yours, use it to attain health, happiness and peace. Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Understand and apply the law of success to live a full and fulfilling life.GOD wanted every individual to succeed. Its the Lord's intent that person should become fantastic. It is God's will that man should not only advantage, but enjoy with every pleasant thing in the universe. The law of success and the universal laws of God present human being the whole thing.

Harvesting at the Right Time. The farmer needs to gather in the crop when the time is right. He cannot do it too early, or the crop will not be useful; he cannot do it too late, or the crop will destroy itself in the field. A person working towards success needs to realize when the opportunities arise so that the efforts planted can be realized at the right time. Hesitation can cause the opportunity to rot away; the attempt to reach the absolute maximum can cause the right time to slip by. Act when your subconscious says to act; by listening to the small voice within you, you will know when the harvest time has occurred. The farmer doesn't wait until the absolute peak ripeness occurs; he harvests the crop just before then, so that the ripeness will occur when the harvest is delivered. So, too, a person needs to act just before the maximum results, so that the results can mature during the act of harvesting. Particularly when it comes to investments, it is better to get 95% of the profit by acting early than to get 80% of the profit by acting too late.

Limitless richness are at man's consumption. There are no limits to his possibilities. He focuses and understands the basics, forces, and doctrine of the whole world and the law of success. He can improve a great intelligence; thus, all life's issues may be answered, all Nature's secrets exposed, and all human troubles solved. Everything is achievable in this world.

Better faculties, improved abilities, expanded insight, and greater power are dormant in all, and by special mental methods, these exceptional elements can be developed to an extraordinary scale for tangible and practical use. Any thinker can acquire greatness. Its basically a issue of KNOWING HOW. Accurate self-discovery, and the correct teaching in using one's faculties and making use one's abilities will expand anyone. Practice will cover efficiency; use will create forth results. Achievement, as a result, is within the reach of any eager individual.

This powerful interaction between words and mind is lost when you type them into the computer or the latest iPhone. A good typist can type sentences without having to look at the keyboard. It is next to impossible to write on a pad without actually reading the words. It is the natural cause and effect of writing; you have to look at what you are writing. It is one of the few things in life that we can't do without active thinking. There are certain things that we perform without thinking, especially when we are on autopilot. When is the last time you got home from work and had no clue which route you took to get there. When we get into our car, it is like the car has a mind of its own. It is imperative that a book and pen is used to record and review your goals and dreams.

Your goals and dreams must be personal to you. I remember when I was in college I always wanted to own a home at the age of twenty seven years old. I did not achieve it till I was thirty years old; I was brutal on myself for those three years of not achieving my goal. I did more damage to the success of that goal in the way. I was unforgiving to myself in not reaching it earlier. You have a better chance of reaching your goals and dreams when your mind is right. When you are writing your goals and you feel good about them, then you are more likely to achieve them. If you don't have a good feeling as you write them, then you should review them and change them. The more your mind accepts your goals and dreams the better chance that you to achieve them. The daily regimen of reading your goals is the final ingredient in allowing your definite chief aim to saturate your subconscious mind. This acceptance of your chief aim by the subconscious mind will dominate your activities in your life. Napoleon Hill equates this level of achievement very similar to auto-suggestion. Napoleon Hill as it is written in "Think and Grow Rich" believes that "so as a man thinketh so is he".
