Writing good poems about Christ entails writing poems which are spiritual in nature and which reflects the life of Christ. The poems should also be inspirational and encourage people to come to Christ Jehovah. Writing about the life of Jesus in a poetic way entails looking at how he lived and the teachings he taught his disciples.

The man had a big land and several animals. He also had many workers who were helping him to take care of the wealth. He lived with his two sons harmoniously but one day, the younger son went to his father and demanded that the father to divide to him part of the wealth that belongs to him. The father went ahead and gave him his share. The son left home and went to another town after selling the wealth he was given. He squandered the whole money and was left with nothing. He then went back to his father and asked for forgiveness.
His father forgave him and welcomed him back home as his son even though he had disobeyed the father. This shows that people should always forgive others even if they have wronged you. She then kissed the feet of Jesus. This was so strange to the disciples. Jesus then proceeded to tell the parable of the two debtors.
Two people owned different amount of money to one lender. The first person owned much money as compared to the second person. The lender then decided to overwrite the debts for both of them. Jesus then asked them among the debtors who was more grateful. The disciples answered that the one who owed much debt would be more grateful than the other. Jesus then related the parable to the circumstance. The prostitute was more grateful than the other disciple that is why she behaved that way.
The other powerful teaching of Jesus which can be used to write a good poem is the teaching on the sermon on the mountain. For instance, Jesus taught that those who are poor in spirit are blessed because the kingdom of heaven belongs to them. He also taught that those who morn will be comforted. He also taught that the meek will inherit the earth. The other group of people who Jesus said are blessed are those who are merciful for they will be shown mercy.
