Knowing All About Domestic Abuse

By Teri Farley

Unfortunately America and the entire planet have seen too many cases of domestic abuse. Individuals do not like to discuss this very tragic subject that can bring pain and misery to everyone involved. These cases can prove to be uncomfortable to many and that is why they stay hidden from society.

Many times this sort of thing happens in many normal heterosexual households and homosexual settings. Women are usually the ones who are mistreated in these relationships and they do not wish to report the crime to law enforcement officials of any kind. Sometimes the women will simply stay in these relationships because they have nowhere else to go.

The female species who marry a violent man are usually repeating a pattern that is within their bloodline. These unfortunate girls were raised by parents who did nothing but fight and argue all of the time. The man living in this household were usually very strong and had the only source of income coming inside the residence.

The women grew up very insecure and still displayed childlike qualities. They wanted a man just like their father and usually they would find him. These poor women would reject any man who was too nice and they believed that a "real" man had to be violent. As time goes by these same women will teach their daughters to only like harmful men.

Females will often remain with an ill tempered man because he is the only one paying all of the bills. They will usually stay at home and raise a ton of children. In order to keep financial control in this very twisted relationship the men will try to keep their wives pregnant every other year.

The male species has also encountered women who are very violent. Women who suffer from mental health problems have been known to act out very violently towards their husbands. There was a case when a wife hit her husband with her high heeled shoe and then threatened to shoot him for no apparent reason. She had done this on several occasions but the husband refused to press charges against her.

Like so many other men he did not want people to know that his wife could defeat him in a battle. Real men do not like to appear as weak to other individuals. Lesbians seem to have all of their "ducks in a row" when it comes to loving relationships. This group of individuals are rarely involved in any sort of violent incidents. Many of these women will sometimes find a mate for life and they rarely cheat on one another. Homosexual males do not have the same kind of luck as their counterparts. Many of them will find themselves being abused by closeted "straight" men.

This sort of domestic abuse happens when the more dominant male becomes outraged over his own homosexual feelings. The dominant man in the relationship will still have feelings for women but yet he is still attracted to the more effeminate male. When he cannot control his same sex urges he will usually blame gay males for these desires.
